Inspired by: watching talented people talk about their passions
What gets creativity going: listening to music, discussing a topic with someone I may not completely agree with and brainstorming with project partners
Favorite place: where I went on my honeymoon – Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
Experience, Training, and Education:
After graduating with a Master’s of Architecture from Kent State University in 2005, I moved to Cleveland to work on the Flats East Bank redevelopment project in downtown Cleveland. Working on this and projects throughout the United States has afforded me a deep appreciation for the urban environment and space and how people interact within it. My focus has been on projects with complex requirements that require leveraging existing assets to transform organizations and neighborhoods with strategic physical, social and cultural interventions. When I am not at my office, architecture firm Vocon, I am immersed in a variety of volunteer initiatives to leverage Cleveland’s assets and creative efforts into visible and tangible results.
